Completely random. My neighbor on the train. The gap was too small so he sat on the edge. Wearing giant headphones. Wasn’t easy to ask. Then this:
A stranger’s approach
sometimes warmer than a phone
call from a friend.
Or an attempt at a relationship
to mend.
I think I just met a new
friend 🙂
on a subway
in a strangeland
a stranger became a helping hand.
The “kindness of a stranger” always warms my heart. Thank you for your poem.
