First wife / husband poems. I was on my way to Rayburn Music when I saw a little red sculpture on a police barrier. I stopped to take a picture. It was a very sweet place to find a quirky piece of art. Turns out the artist and his wife, who live in Connecticut, and a friend had just placed the little man, and were discussing the orientation of the sign that read: “Please leave me here, I’m waiting for a friend. Thanks Red.” Red travels the world via friends of the artist. Very often they stay nearby and watch as a passerby takes him home – an urban treasure. The Oracle at Delphi told him to make these!
