Los Angeles 33m metro red line, January 10th, 2015
Ina is a super-creative New School colleague (and filmmaker/artist) who recently moved to LA to study film preservation. When I read this poem by Moyshe Leyb Halpern called Los Angeles, I posted it on FB and Ina liked it. I challenged her to write her own LA poem, since she’s always posting incredible observations and photos. She did it! Yay Ina.

I’m feathering my nest
with glass and the fragile
mid century ceramics
formed 50+ years ago from clay
Like me.
Is this the new buses
