So I was asked to write
a poem
And I thought “Oh I’m a poet”
I just wrote that poem
That people liked
And I thought
Right
I’m a poet
I’m a poet
I write poetry
I jot my thoughts down
I write words
With deep meaning
But little thought
Yeah
I think
I’m a poet
I write words
That mean different things
To different people
I think
Maybe
I’m a poet
I write
With meaning
Though
Not everyone
Gets it
